BC “Prometey” is the semi-finalist if the last year’s EuroCup, champion of the Latvian-Estonian basketball league 2022-2023.

According to the results pf the BKT EuroCup regular season, “Prometey” came fourth in Group A. It gave the right to play a match of the playoff first stage at home. The “titans” will play against the team, which came fifth in Group B – “Aris” from Greece.
The rival of “Prometey” represents Thessaloniki city, which has over 100-year history (basketball club “Aris” was established in 1922). In the BKT EuroCup Group B, the team reached 50% inducator – 9 wins and 9 losses. “Prometey” has 10 wins and 8 losses.
“Aris” has 7 legionnaires in its roster: 4 Americans (guards Roberto Gallinat and Jonathan Stark, a swingman Ronnie Harrell Jr, forward Kris Bankston), bigman Ismael Sanogo has the passports of the Ivory Coast and the USA, Silvio De Sousa represents Angola, another forward Roberts Blumbergs is from Latvia.
The winner of the game “Prometey” – “Aris” will advance to the EuroCup quarterfinal to clash with French “Bourg”, which clinched the first place in Group B.
